For several years we had the “7th Street Pawn Shop” there and before that there was the “Roy Budde Cafe”. When we replaced the floor, we found a trove of old bones, pork chop, etc.
My Dad and I got are hair cut there and Dad always got a Flat Top hair cut and i would get a Crew Cut by Ed himself then Ed would let me pick Boozooka gum out of his treat box. Then Dad would get me in a head lock and give me a Dutch Rub on my head, Thanks Dad and Thank you Ed for giving me a great Hair cut, GEE I miss those days.
Hey, isn’t that near Celtic Mist? Did I ever tell you that I walked by Celtic Mist one time? Never been inside, but it looks nice from the outside.
