In the 1945 picture there is a vacant lot on the far right. It was used as a Christmas tree lot during the holidays in the ’40’s and 50’s. When I was a kid, that’s where we always bought our Christmas tree.

It’s a decent enough example of Modernism, but I think I’d rather have the houses.
