BACK IN THE 60′S WHEN I WAS AT SJC- BEFORE I WAS ACTUALLY 21 – WE ALL CAME TO TO TWO BRS FOR A COLD BUD. I REMEMBER AT THAT TIME A MAN NAMED “WALLY” WAS EITHER THE MANAGER OR THE OWNER – GREAT GUY.

THIS ENTIRE SITE HAS BROUGHT BACK MEMORIES I CAN’T EXPLAIN HOW I FELT. IT’S BEEN SINCE THE 70′S SINCE I BEEN THERE AND I THINK OF THE TOWN AND FRIENDS OFTEN.

RUSS-PLEASE KEEP THIS SITE UP FOR ALL OF US THAT ARE A LONG WAY AWAY FROM SPRINGFIELD.

ONE COMMENT ON THE PHOTO OF 11TH AND SOUTH GRAND – YOU DID NOT SHOW THE MAIN ATTRACTION – BOOKER’S TAVERN ON TH OTHER CORNER.

What’s most amazing is that 40 years later, it’s still the same business. Other than the post-2007 facelift, not much has changed. Still a good place to hang out!
