What is the event in 1905 that everyone is walking in the street at 2nd and Monroe?

That would be Sunday service. Church attendance sure has dropped over the years.

Looks more like a parade or the appearance of some dignatary. There are some uniformed men on a vehicle in the middle of the shot. Can’t tell if they’re firefighters or policemen. I’m guessing policemen.
